No relays that I know of for the power window switch circuit (checked the Haynes manual electrical schematic).

If you take the switch out and disassemble it, I bet you'll find that the plastic bits which hold the ball bearings in place are cracked causing the intermittent problem.

I had the same problem in mine, intermittently would not go up unless I fiddle the switch.

It eventually failed altogether.

Took it apart and repaired it.

Just replace the switch if in doubt how to repair it.
