I installed new callipers, hoses, and pads on the rear of my "79" 240d a couple of weeks ago. I screwed up bad as I installed them upside down (bleed fitting must be on TOP) and couldn't get them to work, however fluid came out when I bled them with the speedy bleeder but the pedal would not firm up. Someone suggested I check the orientation of the bleed fitting. thanks again
