Some of you may remember that I have been looking for a 80s S-Class Mercedes for a while. I have mentioned it before on another post- but I passed on one of the 86 560SEL's I had found. It was originally $4500- then mysteriously the price went back up to $5600., so I passed on it, just on that fact. Well, another Mercedes on a local classified site has appeared. It is also a 86 560SEL. It almost looks like the exact same car. It is dark gray. In the photo- it looks like new. They were originally asking $6995. for it a month ago (when I first seen it), then last week it was $5995., and now this week it is listed for $4995. Will it be $3995. next week?
Probably not- but @ $4995. I think it is worth considering at that price. Does this seem like a fair price for this car? I am unsure of the miles, but will know more later in the week, when I call about it- or go and view it. I am also considering a 1992 500SEL, but do not know anything about the reliability of these cars? Anyone also have any info on these? Any advice/information appreciated.
