I like to eliminate the cheap and easy things first - in your case that would be the fuel. If you drive a lot then the next tank would tell you the story fairly soon. If you don't and want to know faster than waiting for a fresh fillup, then I would suggest a bottle of Power Service. Either the whole 16-oz bottle or at least 8-oz of it.
