Well, when I got my first car, a 1995 VW Jetta GLS in "triple" (or perhaps "double") black, I bought what was supposed to be the best wax for it, Zymol Carbon. I bought the kit, the HD Cleanse, all the mumbo jumbo. Read the book, even kept the tub in the ice box... I used it a few times, it came out nice, well as nice as black can get.

I got a green BMW, used the Carbon Zymol.... Okay, for about as good as a BMW is painted.

I then got the DB 172 300D, and used the Zymol, not impressed. What a PIA to apply, shine and maintain. It could rain and the job was shot.

I then bought some Meguires Carnuba Yellow Wax and let me tell you, it's the only way to go! I got the $10, "Step 3 of 3" red bottle, and its the best wax I've ever used. The car is like glass.. Easy on, easy off. My car looks 5 years newer.

Now I know I've stated some pretty brazen things, it's just my opinion. I will never invest all that BS time and money in the Zymol product and go Meguire's all the way!
