BIGRED,

First make sure there is enough fuel in the tank. If the fuel tank strainer is partially plugged, it will run rough and possibly stop running when the tank is almost but not completely empty.

If there is enough fuel, try the R&R the primary filter first. If that doesn't work, R&R the secondary filter.
