Just curious:

I'm now looking for a house or townhouse to buy in the DC area. I've looked at a bit over 50 properties and haven't found "the one" yet.

Though three properties were nice enough for me to seriously consider, they each had contracts on them within a day of being put on the market. No breathing room for the buyer in the DC market!! This is incredible!!

I know markets are different all over the country, but how many properties did some of you look at before you got one?

I'm taking my time and won't be rushed into buying. I've got a great place to stay in the meanwhile...
