Thank you gentlemen!! dtkw, you are correct, there is no amp in this little gem. Sixto thank you as well. I did not return the receiver but I did install it and it only took me about 45 minutes. Of course you have to remember I am a woman. Ha!Ha! I think that is why the shop wanted to sell me a high dollar install. There is music in my ears and in my benz now.
