Hello,

The creaking is gone. Just for more info, the air bag is held in place with 2 torx screw from the rear of the steering wheel. They are T-30. Once the airbag is released, just move it aside and use a T-25 torx to tighten the screws. I had 2 that were several turns loose and 1 that was barely snug.
