As they say: A picture is worth a 1000 words...
Hopefully somebody will chime in as I hate to take it apart without any idea of what will happen.
I looked at the passengerside this morning. (I am checking the rotors for thickness, as the front needs replacement). There is a bolt that seems to hold in the brake cable, but there is probably something else inside. (see picture)
The e-brake seems to be ok on this side. It didn't make that much noise when lifted and I cannot turn the rotor after 2 clicks on the e-brake pedal.
