I did not separate the upper control arm from the spindle. It would probably have made things simpler. I didn't want to risk damaging the ball joint boots with my pickle fork.

The bushings on the firewall appeard to be fine and, I think, were polyurethane. They were red and looked ok.

Really am enjoying the improvement in overall driveability. My 300TD also has new Bilstein HD and wears 225-60-14 tires. I have to use a 1/4" spacer on the front to clear the tie rods. Next time I put new tires, I'll change to a different size. Decide that later.
