Just dropped engine into my 84 300td. I Believe after trying to figure out why it wont start that I put the cam and towers off a 617950 engineinstead of the 617952. whats the dif and would the different cam retard timing? the towers and bearings are larger on the 617.952 are the heads dif too. What a blunder . oh well guess you live and learn.
