I get it now. Thanks Narwhal. I understand the concept of exclusive rights. I was always under the impression that what I was buying was some physical space where I can sit my butt down for a certain length of time and that it was mine to do as I wish whether I wanted to watch the game or fart in it. I guess not.

I suppose if I want to let my cousin use that space then my cousin has to enter into separate contract with whoever controls that space. Kinda like leasing an apartment and trying to sublease it to someone else for more money.
