That sounds about right, it is the ONLY place that has a hole that hasn't got something attached! We worked out that the throttle appearing to 'die' was because by the time I have lifted off enough to hold speed, the pedal is almost at rest, but the throttle 'delays' in return and then appears to 'cut'.
I'm going to see if the spring makes the difference...... watch this space...
