Backatcha, James. Aside from conversations with a couple of cycling residents and your family doctor, who may or may not have worked with Oxycontin, what research have YOU done? I haven't done any, because I don't care. I had surgery, my doctor prescribed a pain medication that I hadn't heard of. It worked really well. I had no problem getting my original prescription filled, and when I called to ask for a refill it was waiting at the pharmacy when I got there. End of story. I brought my story up in this thread because I have some direct recent experience with prescription use of Oxycontin, which is more than you can say.
Before you call someone you've never met a liar because their direct experience doesn't match what you were told in casual conversation with a couple of doctors, consider as an alternative that you don't know everything about everything.
Whatever. Your arrogance and presumption are impressive. Continue to enlighten us with your expertise.
