Thanks for your reply. I don't know if it sat for a while or not, buy when I bought it a year ago, it had 87,000 miles on it. Not a lot for an'89. Yes, I've got slick 50 (Could not find bg44 near by) in it now.

I've installed an in-line fuel filter, and some of the issues seem to have gone away. Got this idea from a search of the messages. I think taht you are probably correct in your assumption that it sat for a while. I think what I'll do is replace all of the fuel lines (maybe not the ones feeding from the fuel distributor) and hope that that'll take care of the problems.

The only problems that I have now is a very minor idle stumble, almost barely noticeable.
