Not sure if this is correct forum, but here goes.
I jsut got my CLK back from the dealer, and one of the things they did was to replace the leather on the seats.
The drivers seat is fine, but passenger seat does not look very good.
By that I mean front edge of the lower cushion has two huge wrinkles in it, and what can only be described a a deformation (dent ?) that is quite noticeable. There is also large wrinkles on the lower side bolster. I questioned the service manager about this and was told it is normal for it to look this way, and it would "break in eventually"
Mt seats did not look this way when the car was new. I find it hard to believe they "break in seats" at the factory. Imagine that job.
Anyway, has anyone had this happen ?
Is there some way to smooth this out ?
Do I make them re-do it ?
Steve Tom, if you are out there, I seem to remember you had this done. How did yours turn out ?
