Throttle Link Pic
See my comment above - the elusive spring isn't the throttle linkage return spring - Here is the throttle linkage, with its return spring in situ, the body of that spring is longer than the elusive spring>>>>HELP! 
Anyone wishing to upload a pic of the questionable spring may have to take the shot from UNDER the vehicle..
