Do you have any symptoms that would make you think you need a head gasket? They do go bad but I would say its more of a random thing than directly related to age or mileage. To do anything like that on my car(s) I'd have to have a clear sign that something is wrong. And a slight oil leak isn't one of them. It would have to be coolant in oil, oil in coolant, bubbles in coolant, etc.
