Dear friends:
As the father of an 8 months old baby girl, I've felt that the most precious and only real love is the unconditional love of parents for their children. Have you ever sit back, relaxed and pondered over how many sleepless nights, how much money, time and effort your parents had spent to raise and educate you from a newborn baby to a grown adult? ... And then one day you got married and your spouse (wife or husband) instantly became the person who would have more control over your fate than your own parents? What a joke!
Perhaps many of you are not aware of the fact that in some Asian countries (for example, in Vietnam), a wife never changes her last name to her husband's last name. Her full name is what her parents gave her, and there's absolutely no reason for her to change the last name of her original full name at all IMHO.
Terri 's full name should always be Terri Schindler instead of the Terri Schindler-Schiavo. Her husband-Michael Schiavo got $1,300,000 from a malpractice lawsuit. A large portion of this money was awarded to Terri for her care and rehabilitation, not for him. I'm sure her husband wanted her to die because he would be able to keep a large portion of this money.
This is a paragraph from the web site sfloriII posted:
"Terri has no will. Should she die, her husband will inherit what is left of Terri’s $750,000 medical fund. Terri’s husband lives in a house with Jodi Centonze. He openly admits that he has been engaged to this women for over seven years, have recently given birth to a baby girl, and has announced plans to marry her when Terri is no longer alive."
I feel so sorry and so sad for Terri's parents. They gave birth to her and raised her, and then one day their cruel son-in-laws automatically has more control over her fate than they do????
Lame judges and dumb laws, written by inhuman lawyers.
