I think you hit a key point here. I didn't read thru all the data, but have seen a few news reports. All we know is what we're told, so I reserve any opinions at this time.
I too believe in the living will thing. Both my folks had one, and in my mom's case, it was used. After suffering with cancer for 15 years, she finally said no more treatments. Let it be. But she was able to speak her mind. All there is for Terri is her previous wishes. I guess only the doctors and those around her can decide if there's "anybody home", and decide for her. Heart wrenching story either way.
