I've bought a few things on eBay. I've never truly been burned, although there have been a couple of transactions where I got worried; in spite of repeated E-mails, I never heard a response from the seller...in each case, though, the item came. It just took a while (to the point where I was one day away from notifying eBay of a fraud).
