Is Bajaj-Tempo licensed to build the 5-speed transmission that would attach to the 616 engine? If so they might have an export market here in the US.
Plenty of people would put that on either the 616 or 617 engine - it would probably be cheaper than repairing the automatic transmission when it eventually fails.
