Well, I do not have the knowledge nor experience of Gilly, but here goes.

Use either the factory product or basic Phillips bulbs. I purchased Phillips at a local hardware store for $3.95 each.

Don’t go with over watt bulbs, the lenses are plastic and will melt with bulbs over 55 watts.

Don’t go with blue bulbs, the are not only illegal they do not have additional lumens per watt. This is well covered here:

Also, just a tip, I installed these myself. My tip, remove the headlamp housing. Just under the lamp housing is a plastic strip. On the side closest to the middle of the car reach behind and pinch the two plastic clips by hand and the strip should pop out. Three bolts per housing, one on top, easy to get to, two behind this plastic strip. By getting the housing out you can make sure the bulbs seat properly, the wire is not stuck behind the metal bulb clip and its all done right. So you know I am a girl, had never done this before and I did it in less then one hour, so there you go.

Of course I had to give the local dealer money to have them activate the AAM. If you want the indicator on the dash to indicate when the bulbs come on, be sure to specifically request you want the bulbs AND the dash indicator activated. I had both done and I’m glad I did. Haze/Fog is often a daytime thing, so I wanted the dash indicator activated.

How was that Gilly?
