The tricky part to me is getting them disengaged and engaged at the other (fender) side.
Well, I did the left side first. I tried to just let the trim piece dangle out to the side and not take it all the way off but as I removed the lamp housing it fell off. Then it took me loosening the right side to see how that darn little plastic clip underneath held the longer trim strip in place. After a few attempts of having the underneath clip on the fender tight before I swung the larger outer trim piece in place it just did not feel right, like OJ’s hand in that glove the first time with the rubber glove on underneath so I tried having that underneath clip on loose, almost falling off loose before I swung the larger outer piece in place and bingo, it fit like OJ’s hand in that glove the second time he tried it on.

Did you read through some of the posts here first, or you figured that all out on your own?

I read several post here, specifically the ones by my sweet Gilly-

Do to some mix up in driver schedule I even got a ride home from the mechanic that was going to work on my car. When I asked him about the oil change frequency he said all the employees that own Mercedes at the dealer have there own oil changed more frequently then the dash indicator says. Hmmmmmmm
