hey there! after replacing the oil and filters in my 85 TD-T the transmission started to really jolt as it went through the gears, the car would not shut off and the locks didn't work. well, i found there to be a broken hose piece. must have leaned on it while messing with the oil filter. that has since been replaced and everything appears to be back together. the car shuts off and the locks work properly. the transmission shifts fine if light on the pedal. the problem is when you try to accelerate with a heavy foot. 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th gears really hold on before upshifting at 4000 to 5000 RPM. anyone have any insight?
