For my next dog, I cannot make up my mind. Of the three, which would you pick and why...

1) Dobermans- for some reason, in james bond movies and jackie chan movies, resident evil, etc. the rich and wealthy people have them as guard dogs in there palaces and mansions. Why is it that dobermans are the "dog of choice" for the rich and classy?

2) rottweilers- my current dog and i love rotts. They are big and strong and with proper training can be very aggressive and protective. I would want to get a rott again just because of the sucess of my current dog.

3) Pitt bulls- lots of myth surrounding the "locking jaws", meanest of the mean dogs, etc. yet my pitt bull is not that mean to my opinon and my rott can take on multiple pitts in a fight (i have seen this first hand when neighbors pitts got in my yard). My rott also picks on my pitt.

Also pitt bulls (at least here in this area) has a reputation for guard dogs for crack houses, drug dealers, gang bangers "choice of dog". they are not hmm "classy" so to speak.

I dont know why people are so afraid of pitt bulls. A rottweiler can easily be twice the size of most pitts therefore they can jump up and attack your throat easier and can push you over onto the ground.

So what are your thoughts?
