On the M113 engine, you certainly do not need to change the timing chain every 100,000 kilometers. Even most Japanese timing belts have longer intervals now.

I would imagine that the chain would last at least 250,000 kilometers, but there is no interval mandated. The life of your chain depends on your oil changing history on the car. The better it is, the longer the chain lasts.

If it would help you to sleep at night, it is possible to have the chain checked for stretch.
