Certain allergy medicines made me anxious. I also cut out processed sugar out of my diet (for many different reasons). Aspartame (in diet soda) also gave me a long list off odd symptoms all including anxiety and mood swings. I could not figure out what was wrong until I remembered a doctor years back warning me not to consume anything with aspartame. Then I went to reading online and found people with symptoms just like mine. I quit drinking the sodas and all the symptoms went away within a week.

Since then, I have been careful about what goes in my body.

Meditating (any way you are comfortable) and deep breathing exercises help settle and center you with practice.

Some light walking would be great for you too.

I would look at what you are putting in your body as far as processed foods and chemicals are concerned. Many people have food allergies too. You could keep a log of the foods you eat and how you feel physically and emotionally after you eat them. It’s time consuming but it could trace down the problem. I felt like a new man after I cut out sugar, aspartame, processed foods and began eating more fruits and veggies.

Also how much water do you drink a day? I felt a lot better after I slowly increased my water to 8-10 glasses a day.

Good luck.
