Some things that come to mind are:
1. Bent spindle.
2. Mating surface on the hub was not clean when the new rotors were not installed.
3. New rotors have some run-out.
You might want to jack up one wheel at a time, remove the brake pads and use a dial indicator to see where the run-out is occuring, it's either coming from the rotors or spindles. Time consuming but that's about the only way I can think of is through process of elimination. Good luck
Also this wire you mentioned that was broken, are you referring to the wear sensor wire?
