I have to agree with John and Albert, unless you're a trust fund kid.

We've discussed on this board that the earlier 117 motors had softer cams -- something to think about.

It may have been mentioned in earlier posts, but watch for leaking head gaskets, smoke at start-up, top end clicking, (those damned cams) or else bad rocker arms. Main seal leaks, rear end weeping, ps leaks, and on and on.....
