........to Chicago to pick up the old 190D engine. It still turns after the 20 years in storage, albeit stiffly. I'll be setting up a pressurized oiling system to allow it to flush out all of the oil passages as soon as I get the shop cleared out. I'll also be putting a bit of ATF in each cylinder to get the bores lubed up again. I pulled the oil cap off, and it looked good inside from that vantage. At worst I have a collection of parts that far outvalues the price I paid for this engine. Spare injection pumps, heads, injectors, generator, and whatnot are hard to find.
