I replaced the upper arms on a w116 - they came as complete units with integral balljoint & bush. Perhaps you can replace the bush seperately, but the whole arm wasn't that expensive (I can't recall how much). The springs don't have to come out. Replacing grease in front bearings is a pretty simple job.

But, whatever you do, don't try to replace rear wheel bearings...
