All I know for sure is the subframes on the V8 cars are much beefier. What I don't know is if it's a bolt-on swap, and if the V8 chassis cars had other reinforcement in the unibody construction back there. Since you have both, you could take some measurements and see if the mounting is all the same - I suspect it is. Not sure if this upgrade (if successful) will cure torque steer though. Interesting project!
