Keep in mind there is a difference in dry vs. lubricated torque. Lubricated (motor oil) torque is about 40% lower than dry torque. Use a solvent to clean the oil from the threaded holes, unless the torque value is specifically for lubricated parts. Overtorquing may cause problems.
