Thanks very much for the reply. I bought a 17mm allen wrench from Sears and found it wouldn't go in all the way. Possibly just dirt in there I guess.

Also, I think the socket I bought for the replacement bolt is 1 1/16, not 1 1/8 as I originally stated. 1 1/16 is 26.9875mm so it will probably work just the same
