*PLEASE* PLEASE* PLEASE*!!!!

I hope some one can help me here! I am the new owner of a 1986 560 SEL and it has a couple of bugs that need to be worked out.

This gem has been parked for about 2 years, so here we go!

Can someone tell me why the heater/AC is going crazy on me? I have to jiggle the ignition key just right to get the heater/AC to work. And then when I do get it to work it goes off by itself.


Also the tranny every now and then slips.

The driver seat loves to stay in the all the way forward position and there is no way to get it to go back. I can hear the little motor running but the chair won't budge. So just to be able to drive my MBZ my hubby disconnected to drive shaft and with a drill moved the seat back. Would love to have it operating properly though!

Why doesn't the vent in the center console work? You know the one that blows air to the back seat.

I got some more Q's but will ask those later.
