He might be nuts or he did a complete restoration and is trying to see if he can sell it.

I have been pondering what someone would pay for a showroom condition, rebuilt from the ground up MB diesel. New engine and accessories, trans, suspension, interior, paint chrome etc with a 5 year 50,000 mile warranty. Might be a business opportunity in this world of plastic SUV junk.
