Ahh, they're not that expensive anymore. Now, if you want to make it fast and handle well, then that's another story. The re-builds on the motors are what kill ya!

As for being too tall, there have been several guys that have cut and re-welded the seat rails lower. That combined with a lower aftermarket seat gains them about 4 more inches of headroom. Mostly for the taller guys who want to A/X or race the car. Too tall and their helmets hit. I'm only 5' 11" so it's not a concern for me.

Fun cars and a GREAT group of people. I've sold and bought thousands of dollars worth of used parts and not once been burned. Almost always been sight unseen, too. I hope the Mercedes "classic" croud is the same.
