Only real exposure I've had to 911's was a friend about 20 years ago that got one at a good price(long story). Was a real sweet car. Had profesionally flared fenders and a nice set of real wide Center Line rims, ect, ect. I helped him with the cylinder heads one evening after he tore them out to replace something(don't remember what now). Man! Who engineered those things?!
Anyway, he drove it (or rather his wife did
) for a couple years, but eventually sold it. He got tired of the money pit it turned into.
But then we hear those stories here all the time
