We had a gal here at the machine shop for awhile. She was a far better machinist than 80% of the guys I've ever worked with. And she was young (24), and painfully good looking. It really threw us all when she was hired in. The usual flirting started up. The comments. blah, blah. But it didn't take long for us to figure out 2 things:
She knew what she was doing
She could take care of herself
By the time she decided to move on, I had a real respect for her, and miss having her here alot. I learned to view her as an equal.
Not sure what my point is. I just welcome Jen aboard, and admire her desire to learn.
