I am starting some maintenance catch up on my 1980 240d Manual trans.. and found this list of Tech Service Bulletins put out by Mercedes.... amazing... and will sure affect what I do to it... and may account for some people's problems which I have read about.... and which the factory manual did not address... these have the advantage of hindsight of course...
