79-240d-project - that is Bamboo! and those ARE earlier version seats. my previous post related to the pictures someone posted, maybe not yours.
I like the way the earlier style seats feel, they have more firmness than later seats, whch were foam lined.
Has the horse hair been replaced in your seats yet?
