Had to replace the left rear turn signal bulb recently.
When I opened the light assembly, I noticed that there was a socket for a bulb on the outermost reaches of the tail light. Orange plastic "glass" at that location. All the lights seem to look right when on. Identical on the right side.
Why is that there and should I have a bulb in it?
