Quality beer deserves as much respect as good wine and fine scotch. The ritual of uncaping a real bottle and pouring cool beer into a proper glass for relaxing enjoyment may be foreign to the TV ads featuring fraternity piss-ups, vomiting and jutting bosoms BUT the kids have to grow up eventually.

We are really lucky in my city, having access to some very good micro-breweries and I would be ashamed to rush to the bottom of such fine products. Actually, I play a bit of a game with myself by rewarding a good training run with an equally good beer afterwards.

Down with aluminum cans and twist-off caps :p
