engatwork: so that'll just do it? No circuitry elsewhere? I can just unbolt it and chuck it?

Marshall Booth: Probably nothing in normal conditions...but I'm the sort of person who always travels with a survival kit in the trunk. I also spend a lot of time in the winter in extreme temp. conditions. It occurred to me that adding a preoiler might increase the life of my engine even though I've got a block heater, battery heater, heated auxiliary fuel filter, fuel line and fuel tank.

I just sort of like the idea of it. And I'm trying to think of somehting to do with all that extra space I'll have when I chuck the alarm.
