I finally fixed the old front interior light in my 300D today. I got the nerve to pry it apart without breaking it to see what was wrong with it. It seemed all that it took was to clean and bend the contacts a little. It now looks like it works like it should by staying on a sort time after closing the door. No more dark interior in the morning!
