I remember that cup holder. I was going to make one but never got around to it / got a better idea. All it was was a piece of 1 x whatever cut to be as wide as the console and about 12" long. It had two 3" holes for cups. The top edges were rounded over with a router, including the holes. The bottom edge was routed out to sit on top of the edges of the console. You could make one in 15 minutes. I would only make a 1-hole, though. The second would be far under the armrest anyway.
