Our '93 has about 250,000 miles, 4matic light just started to come on like yours, when still, and foot on brake. 4matic works OK on the road under slippery conditions. I'm looking for at least an explanation. The shop that does our tech work put the diagnostic tester on and could not find any problem. Please post an answer if you get any help with the problem.
