I have an '85 300TD and paid $5000 for it in May of 2001. At that time it had 200k miles, 6 rust areas (slight bubbling types...nothing through the paint), great shine and perfect interior.

I since have felt that I overpaid for it because the rust has continued to work its magic. However, I voted on $5k or more on your poll due to the fact of how well maintained yours is and its appearance.
